Anyone can create a channel on Meemee.tv for free – first you must create a Meemee profile by clicking the green ‘sign up’ box in the top right hand corner of the site. Once you have created a profile you can follow the easy instructions on how to create a channel. (Watch the how to create a channel video on the ‘Get The Best Out Of Mee’ channel – follow this link)

Once you have created your channel and chosen a name and images/logos you can start to organize the content you wish to populate your channel with by creating different ‘Streems’ which house the different and relevant types of content you intend placing on your channel to view. For example ‘The global dating channel’ has a different ‘Streem’ for every Romance expert or matchmaker and their content is placed in their relevant ‘Streems’.You may wish to upload videos to the relevant ‘Streems’ you have created, or schedule ‘Live Meechats’ Please watch the ‘How to schedule a Meechat’ video on ‘Get the best out of Mee’ channel or follow this link.

Once you have written a description and uploaded a relevant image for each ‘Streem’ you also have the ability as a channel owner to add images or logos to describe each video or live Meechat you schedule and broadcast. All of your live Meechats are recorded so you can choose to keep them on the relevant ‘Streem’ as an archive Meechat or delete them.

A Meechat is a ‘Live Broadcast’. Channel owners can schedule Live Meechats at any time. You decide when you want to schedule and broadcast your ‘Meechat’. You decide how to describe your Meechat and what image or logo is the most appropriate. You can invite your viewing audience to watch and participate in your Live Meechat. You can invite up to four viewers to join you on your video platform and chat live whilst streaming to your unlimited audience. Your viewers and participants can chat through the Meemee IM. You can interchange your participants and interact with different viewers any time during your live Meechat broadcast. You can choose to have a ‘Public Meechat’ for anyone to view and request to participate live on your video stage, or you can opt for a ‘Private Meechat’ and just broadcast to/with those you invite. This is a great functionality for conference calls or just private group chats with your friends. Your live Meechat will be recorded and you can opt to keep it as an ‘Archive live Meechat’ in the Streem of your choice. Here at Meemee.tv, we allow our channel owners to have a greater control over their content by enabling broadcasters to opt to levy a ‘Pay per view’ charge on their Live Meechat broadcasts, videos, downloadable content and written articles. So for example, if you wish to broadcast an exercise class you are taking or you have valuable nutritional/diet information you wish to share, you can place a ‘must pay to view’ charge on that particular Live broadcast or video. You can set the fee to whatever you wish to charge your viewers (between $1 and $250). When you upload your video onto a Streem or schedule your live Meechat broadcast this ‘pay per view’ option will be offered to you.
