Low Carb Fat-Burning Pancakes
Here is one of my family’s favourite pancake recipes you can make these low carb fat-burning pancakes more paleo by replacing the oats with almond flour.
Makes 6-8 pancakes
Ingredients:
- 8 egg whites
- 2-4 egg yolks
- 50-60 g of porridge oats
- coconut oil for frying
To serve:
- Berries
- Coyo yogurt
- Any nut or seed butter
- Lemon juice
- Xylitol
Method:
- Blend all ingredients together using either hand blender or food processor until it forms a thick consistency.
- Heat a frying pan over a medium heat and add the coconut oil.
- Once the oil is hot, add a ladle of the batter. Wait until the pancake starts to bubble on the top then turn it over. Cook both sides until they are brown.
- Repeat until you have used up all the batter.

- Berries and coyo yogurt
- Berries and peanut butter
- Nuts and coconut flakes
- Lemon juice and xylitol instead of sugar
